Clare Waight Keller almost put it all on black for her Givenchy Haute Couture collection. Inspired by gardens at night-time, the moonlight pinging from petal to petal, the collection was glittering but sophisticated. While it featured a generous amount of cascading colour — pastels spilling from jewel tones, for instance — it was the pieces in black, with all of their power coming through expert tailoring, that were the belles of the collection.
