Petra Collins Shot A Whole Bunch Of Good Boys For Gucci’s Year Of The Dog Collection
Hnnng.
Gucci know how to win hearts; dabbling in fanny packs, aliens, memes, lol spelling and huge Grandma Yetta vibes. Refusing to let up, they’ve just tapped into the world’s biggest weakness/best friend via their dedicated collection for year of the dog.
Shot by the one and only Petra Collins, the campaign features lots of dog-realted products and lots of actual doggos. The dog motifs in the collection were actually inspired by a pillow that Unskilled Worker (artist Helen Downie) gifted to Gucci’s Alessandra Michele. The pillow features Michele’s two Boston Terriers, Bosco and Orso, but the Gucci collection features nearly all the hound heads in Unskilled Worker’s repertoire.
Unskilled Worker’s motifs cover men’s and women’s RTW knit sweaters, denim, hoodies and bombers, as well as shoes, handbags, luggage, small leather goods and accessories. There are so many pieces, and so many good boys!
