Wrap Sheet: Karla Špetić @ MBFWA Resort 19, Day 2
We will absolutely be recycling our bubblewrap as fashions next season.

First Thoughts:
This is Karla Špetić’s 10th year doing great things in fashion. Go Karla! For the label’s anniversary, the focus was pretty selfless. The 2016 doco A Plastic Ocean struck a chord with Karla, and it lead her collection. “According to the documentary, 8 million tonnes of plastic are dumped into our oceans, how can you look at this breathtaking beach and not want to protect it,” she said. “In this collection I have included some pieces made from plastic bubble wrap. They won’t go into production, but I wanted to use them as a talking point for all the plastics that are destroying our oceans and precious marine life” Also: Crocs!
