We love Miuccia Prada and, quite frankly, she could send any of her collections down the runway on self-driving segways and we’d still be pleased. Meaning headline-worthy casting isn’t something she particularly needs to do to grab our attention. But by god we’re glad she submitted to it this time. Miu Miu Resort 19 = the ultimate strong woman club.

Along with casting very top models such as Naomi Campbell, Adriana Lima, Adwoa Aboah, and Oyster cover girl Hannah Elyse, also walking the show was a crew of great lady actors including other Oyster cover girl Chloë Sevigny, plus Jaime King, Kate Bosworth, Rowan Blanchard, Sadie Sink, Gwendoline Christie and the show-closing Uma Thurman — who took her time smiling at the crowd.

This feels so great for Miu Miu, to continue this path of saluting womanhood, and the sentiment of giving space to women in film is completely apt for this time.
