Desmond is Amazing, @UglyWorldwide and a Zebra Star in Gypsy Sport’s New Campaign

Gypsy Sport is known for their diverse casting, and the brand’s new AW18 campaign is no exception. Shot by photographer Oscar Ouk in all black-and-white, the images feature Oyster #111 cover star, @uglyworldwide, 10-year-old drag kid Desmond is Amazing, who also made his runway debut at the brand’s AW18 presentation earlier this year, and, um, a zebra. Not a real zebra, natch — it’s actually RuPaul’s Drag Race star Nina Bo’Nina Brown.

“They’re muses who don’t conform to any binaries,” Gypsy Sport designer Rio Uribe told DAZED about the casting. “[..] I’m very proud of the many black, brown, queer, trans, non-binary/gender nonconforming models that Gypsy Sport has introduced to the fashion industry.”
