Vivienne Westwood Is About To Go Full Brit Heritage For Burberry Collab
God save the trench.
Actual iconic British designer Vivienne Westwood has been named the first collaborator for Riccardo Tisci’s Burberry. Together, the pair will go deep in the archive of the houses best designs and reimagine them in celebration of British heritage and style — something Viv has not just contributed to, but shaped terrifically.
“Vivienne Westwood was one of the first designers who made me dream to become a designer myself,” Tisci said. “And when I first started at Burberry, I knew it would be the perfect opportunity to approach her to do something. She is a rebel, a punk and unrivalled in her unique representation of British style, which has inspired so many of us. I am so incredibly proud of what we will be creating together.”
The limited edition collection will launch December 2018, and we are so ready for Viv’s interpretation of Burberry’s forever stylish garb. I mean, can you imagine how she’s going to trick out those trenches and that check?
