Watch Gucci Go Full Franco In The SS19 Live Stream, Right Here
Gang de Gucci.
For the first time, Gucci will present the SS19 collection at Le Palace in Paris. And it’s happening tonight! Part of the three-part homage to France, the collection will no doubt dip into a whole new set of Alessandro Michele’s references all the while bridging the gap between Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks in a v special off-calendar event.
Gucci and Michele have made little to no hints about the SS19 show, of course, but we can gather from the brand’s May 1968 Paris student protest inspired campaign and Michele’s own instagram post of a very incred (and pink!) Marie Antoinette-style wig, that she show will take a look at French history in an expectedly absurd way. Plus, it’s Gucci, which means a reference timeline dotted with historic nostalg from Baroque to baseball, Sega to surgery, and here’s hoping croissants to camembert.
Anyway, you can catch it all live from Paris on September 24 at 7.30pm CET, which translates to September 25 at 3.30am in Aus, right here:
