Dolly Parton Even Sleeps With Her Makeup On

Singer, songwriter, fashion icon and all around country angel Dolly Parton just let everyone in on her best kept beauty secret. In an interview with the New York Times, the 73-year-old let it sleep that when she’s on tour, she actually sleeps in her makeup.

“I clean my face in the mornings,” she explained. “You never know if you’re going to wreck the bus, you never know if you’re going to be somewhere in a hotel and there’s going to be a fire. So I leave my make-up on at night and clean my face in the morning.”

Honestly, this news isn’t a total shock — quite frankly it looks like Dolly never takes off her makeup, just piles on more. How she manages to have flawless skin and still look amazing, however? One will never know. Maybe sleeping in a full face of makeup and crazy lashes is the new thing. It works for Dolly, and that’s good enough for me. As for nighttime skincare routines and haters?
