Alexander Wang’s New Campaign Envisions A Sick Movie Called #TheWangHustle
Keep your friends close and your funds closer.
With The Hustler trailer out and the upcoming Safdie Brothers diamond district thriller starring The Weeknd and Adam Sandler, we’ve been thinking a lot about what it really means to be a hustler. And it seems we’re not the only ones. This week, Alexander Wang dropped his latest Collection 2 campaign as a series of movie posters for the fictional #TheWangHustle.
Shot by Hugo Comte and styled by Haley Wollens, the posters starring Anna Ewers are all paired with epic quotes that tell the story of a bitch bad enough to hang with J.Lo, Lili Reinhart and Cardi B for sure.
“She’s not a paper chaser. She’s a money maker,” the series starts. “Her next move? You’ll never know. She’s on the run — so catch her if you can.”
“She wasn’t born into the lap of luxury. She earned it,” it continues. “Keep your friends close and your funds closer. Nothing’s more romantic than your own success.”
Honestly, PREACH. But also, can #TheWangHustle be an IRL movie? The scenery, the fat stacks of money, and of course, the wardrobe, make this a recipe for blockbuster success. And did we mention Collection 2 is sick AF?
See for yourself above.
