Get Set For The Miu Miu Spring-Summer ’21 PFW Show

Fashion Month — though in a (COVID-necessitated) digital-meets-semi-IRL format this season — continues to its usual finale in Paris this week (so yes, more Fashion Month wrap-ups coming to Oyster very soon). One of the regulars on the schedule that we are particularly excited about is today’s Miu Miu show, to debut the brand’s Spring-Summer 2021 collection by Miuccia Prada. 

The brand has so far only revealed a couple of trippy, but very pretty, digital animation teasers featuring lots of pinks, white and grey… Just how this will translate into the show we can never be sure of, but what we do know is that the show experience was “inspired by the idea of the sports arena” and will be set in what the brand is describing as “a space that is simultaneously physical and digital.” It’s set to be “immaculate and hued” and will recreate “a digital sports club for the worldwide #MiuMiu community”. We also strongly suspect that the global pandemic will have had very little impact on the brand’s knack for a killer casting of Miu Miu girls.
