Agyness Deyn Retires From Modelling
To focus on acting.
British model Agyness Deyn has given up modelling to work on her acting chops. The 29-year-old has just announced that she has "stopped modelling officially”, although it seems the decision has been in the works for a while. She was quoted in a recent interview with The Independent as saying, "I've not done any for a good long while now. I think it was about four years ago when my feelings were changing towards the industry. I didn't hate it, but I was yearning to do something different. I was on a gradient. It was a gradual thing."
Sadly, the one brave enough to shave her head and dress like a tomboy will no longer grace our magazine pages. But fear not, our silver screens shall not suffer. With a few movie titles already under her belt (Clash of the Titans, Mean to Me) and new films coming out (Sunset Song, The Pusher), Agyness may have a whole other calling yet.
