Anja Rubik Relaunching Her Erotica Magazine Today in Cannes

All ass AND class.

In 2009, Anja Rubik started 25 with now-husband Sasha Knezevic, and today in Cannes she's relaunching it, dedicating the reborn magazine to the art of erotica. Inspired by the aesthetic seen in 70s women's erotica magazine Viva, along with vintage Playboy and Penthouse, the new 25 is going to be all ass AND class. Think a beautiful, collectible product that you’d want to have displayed on your coffee table, rather than a sleazy girly mag hidden under a teenage boy's bed.

Under Anja's creative direction, the new 25 will act as an ode to the female form — you saw her Met Ball dress, the female form is not something she's afraid of! The first issue is shot entirely by women with contributors including Annie Leibovitz, Ellen von Unwerth and Inez van Lamsweerde. It’s going be 300 pages, with no advertising.

In a recent interview with Style.com, Anja said of the magazine, "25 is basically directed toward very strong-minded, ambitious women, who are very comfortable with themselves and their sexuality. I was thinking a lot recently and looking how sex is approached nowadays, and nudity, and bodies. Erotica kind of disappeared. The way we approach sex is either really prude or very vulgar."

One thing’s for sure — 25 is bound to be a babe-fest with Anja featuring her model-pals in the mag. Abbey Lee Kershaw plays muse #1 in this smokin' preview:

25 will be available at Colette and in Colette's online store.
