weekend playlist: collaborations
Your weekly weekend playlist from Oyster Magazine.
David Bowie, Annie Lennox, and Queen - 'Under Pressure' @ the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert for AIDS Awareness (1992)
Last week my car broke down. I could not have fixed it without the help of some very wonderful friends (and three helpful strangers from the pizza shop who helped me to push it up a hill). Ergo, this week's playlist is about "COLLABORATIONS" as there is nothing more wonderful in life than people working together to achieve a common goal.
Also, sometimes the collaboration can have a Message e.g. in the case of Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder's hit song 'Ebony and Ivory', whereby the aforementioned ebony and ivory not only refers to piano keys but is also a metaphor for race relations!!! Powerful stuff.
