House of Holland Resort 2013 Lookbook
Pompoms and varsity stripes.
Henry Holland may have grown up a little bit since the slogan tees that saw him rise to popularity (who could forget 'do me daily Christopher Bailey'?), but his approach to fashion is still as irreverant. House of Holland's Resort 2013 collection is a tongue-in-cheek take on high school Americana.
Varsity stripes in purple and peach, letter-emblazoned knitwear, and pleated skirts and dresses pay homage to cheerleaders. Pompoms are a key feature — they adorn shirts, dresses, and a pair of flatform shoes (which are part of the label's collaboration with Superga). There's also cartoon pompom tees and a multi-coloured pompom print that could work perfectly in the place of a Spring floral.
Sweatshirts and duffle bags will take you from the locker room to the gymnasium and beyond. This season also sees a new focus on swimwear, with the inclusion of two striped bikinis, a one-piece swimsuit, some jersey pieces and a sarong.
