brothers of arcadia
No Gaga or Zombie Boy, but plenty of beach romps and naked paint parties.
What do get if you cross Baywatch with an Olympian disco orgy? Well, if you subtract Pamela Anderson and add plenty of hairy wet man-thighs you'd get Nicola Formichetti for Mulger S/S 2012 menswear campaign video. Featuring more gold medallions than it does actual items of clothing, Brothers of Arcadia is an "erotic fashion film" combining Formichetti's interest in both Italian neo-realist cinema and the accessibility of pornography on X-Tube. [UPDATE: you can watch it here.]
The campaign is directed by filmmaker Branislav Janic, who Formichetti tapped to create the two-part film ? the black-and-white beach scene and the disco orgy clip were released separately, evidence to the creative director's firm grasp on the mechanisms of Internet-marketing. Part one is set to the classical tune of Franz Schubert's 'Piano Trio No 2', to which the men romp dramatically around a secluded beach with their buns of steel clad only in Olympian speedos and their chiselled abs draped in Mugler bling. Things get more colourful when Jessica 6 lays down a Mugler remix of 'White Horse' and the men decide to have an X-rated paint party (shouldn't they have done that before bathing?).
The film does not feature either Lady Gaga or Formichetti favourite Rick Genest (AKA Zombie Boy), but there's bound to be plenty of other things to grab your attention tomorrow ? this is when the designer releases the uncensored version on free porn site XTube.
