Chanel Cruise 12/13 Beauty Looks
Make-up inspired by Marie Antoinette.
The beauty direction for Chanel's Cruise 12/13 runway presentation was inspired by Marie Antoinette. Peter Phillips, the Creative Director of Chanel Makeup, took cues from Marie Antoinette through candy coloured hair, exaggerated cheeks using Joues Contraste blush in 'Rose Pétale', and pretty pink eyes rendered with Ombre Essentielle Soft-Touch Eyeshadow in 'Rose Favorite', which is part of the 'Versailles de Chanel' collection that will be available in December. He also created tiny velvet logo face stickers especially for the show, which will also be for sale later in the year as part of the new make-up collection.
