Charlotte Ronson Launches Beauty Line

Alexander Wang isn't the only NY cool kid turning his hand to cosmetics.

The Ronson family surely has one of the most talented transatlantic gene pools in the Northern Hemisphere. Of the sprawling seven-sibling brood which includes DJ Samantha Ronson, music producer Mark Ronson, and model Annabelle Dexter-Jones, Charlotte is the sartorial stand-out currently riding high on the success of her eponymous clothing line and her I Heart Ronson diffusion range (which department store J. C. Penney can't keep on their shelves).

So what's an NY It-girl to do after conquering high-end and high street? Diversify! This week Ronson confirmed she will be expanding her scope via a collaboration with US beauty giant Sephora on an exclusive range of Charlotte Ronson cosmetics.

The offering will embody the effortless beauty that Ronson is synonymous with, in a series which includes everything from eyeshadow palettes and lip glosses, to hair and body products, all priced within the US$14 - $28 bracket. Each of the products are named after Ronson's family and friends - including sisters Samantha and Annabelle, actresses Drea De Matteo and Rashida Jones, and pal Nicole Richie - and will be available in a subdued spectrum of brown, eggplant, slate, and flesh tones.
