City Style: A Field Guide to Global Fashion Capitals is a comprehensive guide to the world’s most fashionable cities, according to some of their most stylish residents.
Featuring chapters on New York, Tokyo, Paris, Milan, London, Stockholm, Los Angeles and Sydney, City Style collates interviews with leading local designers, insights from local fashion photographers, runway photos, and written pieces on the fashion and style of each city. Including some of the coolest hangouts and most sought after boutiques, the book creates a fashion portrait of the world’s most stylish cities.
The book is a collaborative effort, featuring sections written by Geometric Sleep‘s Laia Garcia (NY), fashion show producer Lauren Drablier (Paris), PIG magazine‘s Fabiana Fierotti (Milan), writer/stylist Jem Goulding (London), Flaunt‘s Maxwell Williams and former Oyster editor Paul Bui (Sydney) amongst others.
The magazine features interviews with designers such as Rad Hourani, Yasuko Furuta of TOGA, Danielle Scutt, Kit Willow, Dan Single from Ksubi and Nic and Susien of Lover.
City Style is available in stores and online in October 2010.
