Dion Lee Line II Summer

Dion Lee's capsule collection does not disappoint.

Now in its second season, we see something different from Dion Lee Line II with the new Summer offering. Launched earlier this year to accompany the mainline, Line II is a capsule collection with a focus on wearability and versatility, characterised by a novel approach to shirting and a talent for tailoring. This latest offering has a more sporty feel than its previous incarnation so oversized jackets, cropped trousers and short jumpsuits are go-to pieces for shooting the breeze when the weather is warmer.

It's great to see that signatures of the Dion Lee label are not lost in translation from mainline to capsule, which is often the case when designers make this leap. The pieces may be ostensibly simple, but details reveal that this collection is distinctly Dion like delicate silk layered over dresses and cut-out panels on shirts.

Let this be our guide for summer dressing, because sometimes all you need is a big, baggy shirt and a pair of sneakers (looking like Julia Nobis wouldn't hurt either). And that pretty palette of baby blue, sorbet cerise and pale mint is just perfection.

Dion Lee Line II Summer will drop in-store nationwide this week.
