Donate to FBi Radio's Supporter Drive
Be a good sport!
Grab your fake moustache and wooden tennis racket and get ready to thwack commercial radio in its Kyle and Jackie O-riddled airwaves. Sydney's biggest indie radio station, FBi, is asking you to Be a Good Sport and contribute to their biannual supporter drive.
Niche but never intolerable (thankfully you never have to suffer through hours of free jazz), the station plays 50% Australian content, with 50% of that coming from Sydney. As David Puddy always says, "You gotta support the team," so chuck FBi a tenner (or more, if you're feeling particularly patriotic) to help them realise their goals, like training more volunteers; creating more content for the internet; digitising their epic music library; and bringing their second studio back into action.
If that's not enough to pry your cash out of your clenched, thrifty fists, being a supporter comes with a bunch of benefits like chances to win prizes from Sydney Festival, Modular People, Sunday Somewhere, Audio Technica and many more. The Good Sport Supporter Drive runs until 18 November.
