You can tell that Kate Sylvester is a romantic — her version of Jane Eyre ends with Jane spending endless lazy summer days in the French countryside with Mr Rochester. This is the story told in the short film that accompanies the designer's SS12/13 collection 'All My Heart'.
The sun-drenched video displays the neo-Victorian collection in all its glory. The provincial Jane wears slouchy suits, flowing floral dresses and lace cut-outs with pretty underthings and detachable collars galore. She's also a little bit badass, sporting an "all my heart is yours sir" tattoo on her chest at the end of the film. The video also features some dainty cameo-inspired jewellery designs by Mirabelle for Kate Sylvester. The stop-motion film is set, rather appropriately, to the beached-out tune 'Sunny Day' by Surf Friends.
