Exclusive: Rachel Rutt x Nobody Video & Interview

Forget double denim, Rachel says go triple.

We're so obsessed with Rachel Rutt that we followed her around during Fashion Week this year. Now, she fronts the video campaign for Nobody's Spring 2012 'Tonal' collection. The denim-makers teamed up with filmmakers, the AEON, with our very own Ana Ifould styling the video. Wearing the three 'Tonal' denim looks in Green Envy, Blue America and Grey Phantom, Rachel is teleported onto natural scenery including rainforests, salt caves and clouds.

Last season's story was called 'True Blue', appropriate considering every piece is handmade in Melbourne and the enviro-friendly folks are accredited by the Ethical Clothing Australia Standards. We chatted with Rachel about the perfect pair of jeans and the magic of green screens.\

Dijana Kumurdian: Did you have fun making the video?
Rachel Rutt: Well, I've never worked with a green screen before. That was new. I always remember the Seek ad when I think of green screens. The guy who has all the little neon balls attached to his body. It was cool to be like him for a day.

What makes the perfect pair of jeans?
You can tell when someone is at ease in their jeans. That's perfect. It's not a particular style, it's the way they wear them.

Double denim: hell yeah or hell no?
Go triple.

What's your favourite piece in Nobody's 'Tonal' collection?
The sleeveless shirts. They remind me of my utility vest, which is very sexy.

You can shop 'Tonal' online now!
