Exclusive: Thursday Sunday AW12 Lookbook & Video
Up-and-coming label Thursday Sunday’s new collection cements the style it’s developed since it was founded in 2009: fresh, relaxed, diverse, minimalist. Started by Iris Cuaresma and Mara Tonetti, the new season is defined by greys, beiges and blues, long geometric skirts, tailored dresses and trousers, and oversized knitwear handmade by Gabriella Tonetti. The earthy palette and all-natural fabrics hint at the influence of the arts and crafts movement as well as the design duo’s personal ethos of sustainability, localism (all their designs are made in Australia) and traditional methods (they include hand-made pieces in every collection).
