Exclusive: We Are Handsome Behind-The-Scenes
Sunsets, palms and dreams of a summer we never quite got.
We went behind-the-scenes on We Are Handsome's shoot for their 2012 collection, 'The Romantic'. Founded by Indhra Chagoury and Jeremy Jules Somers, the Sydney-based label, with its origins in swimwear, evokes a sun-drenched nostalgia. Shot in Miami at the Shelborne Hotel, The Romantic delivers on one-piece suits and bikinis alike that reflect a subdued beauty intermingling with a more boisterous slice of animal instinct. In any case, the result is nothing if not romantic: pastels juxtaposed by bold prints against a backdrop of sunsets and idyllic palms.
