Facebook to unveil a 'life-saving' tool
Hope we "like" what we see.
Get ready, world, 'cause Mark Zuckerberg has something to announce. Something of such magnitude that the man will be appearing on Good Morning America tomorrow to announce it himself. The Facebook CEO will be unveiling said potentially "life-saving tool" to an audience of, like, heaps of viewers who will presumably be tuning in to see what all the fuss about.
Facebook's Chief Operating Officer, Sheryl Sandberg (otherwise known as the lady that nobody's heard of) will also be providing more details on the 'tool', in an interview with World News with Dianne Sawyer's Dianne Sawyer.
Details of the 'tool' are scarce, but before you run out onto the street pronouncing the end times (pessimist!), just remember, it's not the first time Facebook's unveiled a big news story. remember their 'big' announcement about Skype intergration? Neither does anyone else.

UPDATE:
The "tool" has been revealed: The ability to share with your network whether you are an organ donor. Facebook now allows US and UK users to include a "life story" on their Facebooks, offering a link to local organ donor services hoping that more people will become organ donors.
