Fiona Apple Arrested on Drug Charges
Cause she's feelin' like a criminal.
Fiona Apple has been arrested in Texas for possession of weed and hash, and spent the night in Hudspeth County Jail. The comeback singer/songwriter was touring North America on the back of the release of her album Idler Wheel (which is good, yo) when her tour bus was pulled over at a border patrol checkpoint in Sierra Blanca, Texas — the same town where Willie Nelson and Snoop Dogg have also been caught out for posession.
TMZ reports that sniffer dogs found a small amount of weed and hash (the size of a baseball and a golf ball respectively) on board, and that Fiona 'freely admitted' to owning the substances. She was released on $10,000 bail this morning, but still had to cancel her gig at Austin City Limits Live tonight. Damn the man.
Frank Ocean has come forward on Twitter showing his support for Fiona, now someone just needs to immortalise this slogan on a t-shirt.
