The Forresters Reopens Tomorrow
The famous Surry Hills pub has been revamped.
The Forresters, a pub that was once a Surry Hills institution, is reopening this Friday. You might recognise the new owners, James Wirth (aka Bang Gang's Jaime Doom) and James Miller, from their previous work: The Norfolk, The Carrington and The Abercrombie. The Forresters has been completely decked out, and now boasts a Pizzeria, an upstairs dining room (for Sit Down Dinners), two bars (because one is boring, yeah?) and a pretty sweet beer garden (with lemon trees and vines!). The whole thing is based on those American mom-and-pop trattorias that you see in the movies, so you'll be able to buy pizza by the slice (or try a whole 'pie'). Crowd-drawers will be the 'Pay-Day Steak', Pigs & Suds Sundays, $3 slice nights, Feed Me Tuesdays and daily happy hours on schooners and a slice.

The Forresters is located at the corner of Riley St and Foveaux St, Surry Hills and will reopen tomorrow on Friday February 24.
