g-shock x krink
Craig Costello, aka KR or Krink, is the sort of person who sees a problem and sorts it out. Back in the late eighties, New York's graffiti scene underwent a revolution and suddenly DIY tools and handmade inks weren't enough to make a real imprint on the city. By the nineties, KR had relocated to San Francisco and started to make his mark on the streets. He used them as his very own studio, playing with new techniques, tools and homemade inks in order to create the ideal arsenal for a new breed of graffiti artists. Thus Krink, an innovative brand of art supplies, was born.
Fast-forward twenty years, and Craig Costello is still sorting things out. This time, he's turned his hand to a new durable and super slick timepiece from Casio G-Shock. The DW6900KR-8 comes in a matte silver finish reminiscent of Krink's signature ink that was developed on the streets of San Fran. With a minimalist ethos and little to get in the way of KR's clean aesthetic, it's a little bit of street for the wrist.
Only ten G-Shock x Krink digital watches will be available in Australia from General Pants online, Highs and Lows, Perth and Carhartt Store, Melbourne.
