Harvest Tickets On Sale Now

... and you could perform there!

The line-up announcement for this year's Harvest festival instilled a profound (and really, very warranted) sense of excitement in music enthusiasts. The likes of Sigur Ros, Beck, Grizzly Bear, Santigold, Fuck Buttons and The Dandy Warhols just scratch the surface of the repertoire for the festival's sophomore run. As you're probably aware, tickets went on sale at 9am this morning via harvestfestival.com.au, Oztix and Ticketek.

Another thing that rules about Harvest is that you can perform there. As in, YOU can perform there, if you can do something cool that people will be entertained by. Festival organisers are currently seeking artists to participate in the 2012 Harvest arts programme. Last year over 400 artists participated across the three cities, via four dedicated stages, 50 installations and 2 virtual experiences. This year, come forth with your offers of live art, site installations, roaming performance, spoken word, comedy, circus, digital and ecological arts projects – and everything in between. That's virtually limitless! So if you want to take to the stage with your artistic graces, head here and fill out the application form.

Festival dates are as follows:

Sunday November 11 – Melbourne, Werribee Park
Saturday November 17 – Sydney, Parramatta Park
Sunday November 18 – Brisbane, City Botanic Gardens
