Jenna Lyons' Home: Interior Heaven

Serious house envy at the sight J. Crew Creative Director's Brooklyn townhouse.

We really are sad to hear that J. Crew's President and Creative Director, Jenna Lyons, is getting divorced and selling her house. But if it weren't for that minor detail, we may not have had the chance to peek so exclusively inside her incredible Brooklyn home, which just went on the market. Now all we have to do is rustle up the US$3.75 million asking price and it could be ours! I guess that's just trunk change for Ms Lyons, whose rumoured annual salary is around the $5 million mark.

Located in Brooklyn's Park Slope neighbourhood, the townhouse boasts seven bedrooms, three-and-a-half bathrooms and a beautiful marble kitchen. There are also real, wood-burning fireplaces throughout, an incredible bathtub off the master bedroom and even a roof deck. I am experiencing some serious home envy right now. And that was before I even spotted Jenna's closet, which has its own private fireplace (for decoration only, I presume), antlers on the wall and so much shoe space it makes me giddy!

Jenna and her husband of nine years, artist Vincent Mazeau have one son together, Beckett, and apparently the divorce has been a prickly one, with Mazeau saying he would be seeking a "sizeable settlement," claiming that he gave up aggressively pursuing his career as an artist "to stay at home and allow her to develop her successful career."

I wonder if his spiteful attitude has anything to do with rumours that Jenna is leaving her husband for a woman. It all sounds far too sordid for such a enviable abode. Or perhaps just sordid enough.
