Kanye's New Love Interest
Kanye West and Chanel Iman: it's official.
For quite some time now, rumours have been rife that Kanye West and model, Chanel Iman are dating. Back as far as 2009, the New York Post reported seeing the pair getting "cosy" in New York and, around the same time, Iman told New York that she and Mr West "text every once in a while". But the rumour mill really cranked into overdrive back in June, when Chanel and Kanye were seen together at this year's CFDA, his arm affectionately wrapped around her waist. So, when the rapper chose Chanel to be a leading lady in his debut foray into the field of fashion, the launch of his fashion line, it should have been a no-brainer.
Now it seems that the couple are official, after they sat side-by-side at the Givenchy Spring Summer 2012 show in Paris and later stepped out together to attend the after-show party. Posing for news photographs together and later spotted 'getting friendly' (West apparently had his head resting on her shoulder), the pair couldn't have been cuter. His romance with a fashion model certainly befits his recent foray into the fashion world, but we are keen to see if this dalliance will stand the test of time. We really hope so, because they sure do make a damn cute couple!
