Kiernan Shipka: Most Stylish 11-Year-Old Ever

She even has "go-to pieces." We don't even have go-to pieces.

Tavi's a tween no more, and following in her footsteps of being a ridiculously well-dressed minor is 11-year-old actress Kiernan Shipka. When we were her age, the epitome of fashion was sneakers with built-in flashing lights (god, those were cool), OshKosh B'gosh denim overalls and brightly coloured rash vests, even though we didn't have time to worry about what to wear because we were too busy learning to ride a scooter and playing Gameboy and, you know, being a kid. But Shipka, who plays Sally Draper on Mad Men, has a wardrobe filled with Marc Jacobs, Chanel, American Apparel and Stella McCartney and leans towards relaxed elegance. She even has "go-to pieces." We don't even have go-to pieces. In a profile for New York Magazine in February this year, Shipka said "Grace Kelly is my fashion inspiration - a classic look, with beautiful pieces, and very pretty." Just wow.

Lucky magazine recently ran an 'Eight Days, Eight Outfits' feature on the child star and it is possible that there is actually a thirty-year-old woman trapped inside the body of this small girl. Check out some of the outfits below, along with her commentary.

"I was just reading Tavi's blog, The Style Rookie, and immediately ran upstairs and put this number on. It's totally vintage inspired - and the pants are actually vintage Floriane. The cardigan is Olive Juice, the glasses are Chanel and the headband is Jessica Oilette."

"I love this outfit. I am a huge fan of blue and I especially love blue sweaters. This sweater is Paul & Joe. The thing that makes it special is the detachable peter pan collar."

"This Papo d'Anjo shift dress is one of my go-to pieces. I find the pattern fun, but not too chaotic. I always carry around the Stella McCartney bag I'm holding," Shipka says about her outfit on the left. "I decided to wear all basic colors and bring in a pop of orange with my scarf. The scarf is Marc Jacobs, the sweater is Olive Juice, the skirt is American Apparel and the boots are Cole Haan."

Shipka has already been featured on interiors blog The Coveteur, coming out with the darndest things like "I love ballet. Ballet is its own being. It has its own vocabulary." Here she is just chillin', playing chess.

"I love organization, so I split my clothes into two closets according to seasons. Though I have to go to the guestroom to pull my fall and winter items, it's still much easier than cramming all my clothes together in my one closet." Say what? A kid who likes cleaning their bedroom? Blasphemy!
