Know Your Trends: The Slogan Tee

Mel Kenny's Dos and Don'ts of tshirt #fashion.
Ah, slogan tees — the way to make powerful statements without uttering a word. Granted, they're not a time-specific trend that's experienced a recent influx, and this is not a 'forecasting' or 'steal that look' article. But they're more of a lifestyle choice, like eating meat or not, or maintaing your pubic hair vs. letting it roam free. And my word, the slogan tee sees virtually no boundaries! Herein is a small edit of some very terrible and some very excellent ones out there. To 'join the conversation', please generously submit your own picks via the Facebook link.
All the boys playing at home: wanna know how to radiate rampant sexism so that passers-by will know you're a dick without even having to talk to you?
This one goes out to you!
Do meld classy and punny into one streamlined, minimalist date-magnet. You won't be needing Tinder with a garment like this.
Don't be fooled into thinking the font from a nostalgic gaming brand will translate into the positioning of your own individual brand as ~quirky~. Oh no. While this shirt says SWAG… choosing to wear it might leave you erm, stag:
Do acknowledge that Miley has decent taste when it comes to psychedelic internet culture slogan tees. This one is, of course, by Di$count and is called PRAY 4 UR LYF. Best leave this one alone if you're the type of person that's genuinely offended that the English language has been devastatingly tarnished by the digital sphere or some shit.
Chix, just don't.
Do wear an appropriation of 2Pac's chest tattoo atop your own chest, in the form of this shirt. (If you're a fan that is. You can't fake this). We'd pop a language warning in here, but chances are, if you like 2Pac, you're cool with it.

Lol, did someone design this while thinking "teeheehee! I am one zany motherfucker!"? Ugh. It's clear what is happening here. I'm obviously bitter that this monstrosity is making someone money, and likely, more money than I make. Next.
Another fine piece by COI. The play on words is sharp, sophistication levels high and the fresh white be dazzling against a summer tan.
