Lara Stone Taken By Tornado

Dutch supermodel Lara Stone is elegantly whisked away by a tornado in Alex Prager's new short, a film noir interpretation of the Wizard of Oz. However instead of Toto, Stone has some old school leather luggage in her clutches, and instead of a blue gingham dress and ruby slippers the gap-toothed beauty is head-to-toe in Calvin Klein Collection. Prager, whose films are known for their fantastical and surreal elements, took inspiration from the Hollywood classics and said she wanted to also give "the impression that Lara is going somewhere interesting, off on a secret mission tucked away in those suitcases." There's no traipsing along the yellow brick road either, Stone stars alongside a Mercedes-Benz SL Roadster, suitably making her seem more like a James Bond bombshell than a wide-eyed Dorothy. The short, shot in the desert outskirts of Los Angeles is part of the German luxury automaker's Autumn Winter 2012 "Icons of Style" campaign, which has previously featured models Jessica Stam, Karolina Kurkova and Milla Jovovich, and creative input from Terry Richardson, Nick Knight and Miles Aldridge.
The most intriguing thing about the short is Stone's ablity to act. She also manages to look stunningly beautiful while whirling around in the sky. Check it out below.
