McCall and Van Messner doin' what they do best.
Bridget McCall and Nicholas Van Messner have always managed to strike that balance between beauty and function. Since launching in 2001 their label LIFEwithBIRD has been making pastel tones and floaty dresses subtly feminine rather than overtly girly, but with their new L.W.B. LIFEwithBIRD Classics range they've pared back their venture taking it to another level entirely.
There are still plenty of refined shapes and lightweight knits that will slot into your summer wardrobe more easily than a pair of Havaianas, with the new addition of LIFEwithBIRD denim. If anyone's fit to be designing the item of clothing most notorious for causing muffin-tops and fitting room tantrums it's these two ? they cut clothing better than Martin Yan cuts chicken, and by the look of these images they're just as devoted to their craft.
Besides denim the Classics range 8 chiffon and soft cotton modal jersey, with a subdued slate palette offset by refreshing peach tones. These pieces are so beautifully simple that you could probably wear the entire collection at the same time and it would still somehow work, though they're equally good all on their own.
