Marc Jacobs Exhibition
And is he off to Dior?
This month, Louis Vuitton are rumoured to be preparing to see the back of Marc Jacobs as he leaves for Dior, while John Galliano watches the takeover unfold from the view of the naughty corner, shifting uncomfortably in his chair of disrepute. Multiple sources have reported the whispers, with those in charge apparently stating that Jacobs will be a "better fit" than Galliano. Here's hoping Jacobs knows how to hold his liquor better than the former creative director.
As a tribute to the hard work and ingenuity Jacobs brought to the brand since starting out in 1997, Louis Vuitton will unveil an exhibition as part of Milan Fashion Week. The show will be taking place at Milan's Triennale and will feature highlights of Jacobs' career with Lousis Vuitton over the past 14 years. Curated by WWD's editor and stylist Katie Grand, the exhibition is set to run from September 22 through October 9.
