MBFWA Review: Ksubi
Double denim is for pussies, Ksubi goes triple and beyond.
Ksubi once again lived up to their reputation of being the coolest kids on the block. The collection was styled by Christine Centenera and you could really see the personal taste that has solidified her as a 'street style star' come through. (She was also wearing a Givenchy t-shirt backstage so is therefore the best). There was a sick 90s sportswear leaning, with silver windbreaker materials, parker vests, baggy (white) denim, puffer jackets with toggles and hoodies tied around the waist. It's clear that Ksubi thinks 'double denim is for pussies', one-upping this with layers upon layers of chambray. A tropi-cool palm tree and hibiscus print was also thrown in to the mix, and there was leather panelling here and there.
