ModelCo Giveaway (Presented by Karlie, Lindsey and Bambi)

Want to look like them? Here's how!

When ModelCo told us that they wanted to do a giveaway for our lucky readers (they obviously knew we were big fans), we got to thinking. Ever wondered what your favourite models use to look the way they do? So did we! But instead of asking them, we decided to make it up (it's much funner that way).

ModelCo was started 10 years about by former model agent Shelley Barrett. Did she think she would ever end up where she is now? "When I launched Turbo LashWand [a heated eyelash curler] in 2002 I didn't ever think I was about to launch an international beauty brand," Shelley says. "I was simply servicing the models and makeup artists I worked with at my modelling agency. The uptake and success of Turbo LashWand showed me that there was a significant gap in the market for niche, smart beauty products and it wasn't until after Turbo LashWand was built that the business plan for ModelCo really came into play."

And now... the models!

LINDSEY WIXSON - LIPS!
Oh Lindsey, what big lips you have! All the better to smile at you with!

Lindsey begins by priming and lining her lips with Lip Enhancer Lip Illusion Liner, which Shelley describes as "a great nude colour, perfect for any colour match." Then she bring out her trusty Lip Lights Lipstick in Sunset — it's got an in-built light and mirror so she can use it at the disco. Shelley find that "taking the time to apply your lipstick really does make a difference in the amount of time that it stays on." She recommends applying from the centre outwards, starting on the top lip and then pressing your lips together to spread the colour and add more where it's needed. You can then use a tissue to "kiss" off the excess and set the colour, and finally apply one last coat.

For a more laidback look — the beach, the milk bar, chess club (yes, Imaginary Lindsey goes to chess club) — Linds keeps a couple of tubes of Cheek & Lips tint in her back. So versatile! But her super-secret weapon is the award-winning Lip Plumper Hydra Therapy, a highly moisturising gloss with both instant and long-term lip enhancing properties. If it's good enough for Imaginary Lindsey, it's good enough for us!

KARLIE KLOSS - TAN!

Sometimes Imaginary Karlie just doesn't feel like making it to the gym (Real Karlie probably always feels like going to the gym). Her secret? Fake tan contouring!

For an even tan you need a clean slate, so Karlie always has some Tan Prep Body Polish on hand. Then it's time for Tan Airbrush in a Can, which works at any angle — with those crazy-long legs it can be hard for Karlie to reach her ankles — along with the Blend Buffing Mitt for perfectly even application. KK likes a more subtle tan on her face — luckily she's got Face Tan Hydrating Self-Tanning Gel, which contains two formulas: a moisturiser, containing rosehip and argan oils, and a tanning formula containing Melatime, which works with your skin's natural pigmentation and melanin levels to give you a gradual, natural-looking tan with less time spent in the sun. And when she's on-the-go? You'll find there's always a Super Tan Instant Self-Tan Jet Set Size in her carry-on.

Shelley recommends applying tan just after you get out of the shower. "Tan adheres to the skin best when pH levels are between 4 and 5 (which is after you've just showered). Moisturise your feet, knees and any other 'dry' spots and apply tan over the top of this once you've applied tan to the rest of your body. Use a moisturiser, gradual tan or tan extender in the days after your tan to top up the colour." Still nervous about ending up like this? Here are some more tips.

BAMBI - BROWS!

Our Bambi is all about a strong brow, but sometimes she gives Mother Nature a helping hand (shhhhh!).

But how does she do it?
Step 1: Lash and Brow Growth Stimulator
Step 2: Eye Brows Designer Brow Kit.
Step 3 (in case of date night): Luminosity Shimmer Stick on the brow bone.
