More Revealed About Brad Pitt's Chanel No. 5 Campaign
You'll be able to watch him seduce a bottle of the perfume.
Earlier this year, Chanel announced that Brad Pitt would become the first male face of their iconic female fragrance, Chanel No. 5. The campaign will debut in a matter of days (15 October, to be precise) and will reportedly feature Brad Pitt talking to a bottle of Chanel No. 5 as if it were woman, proving that conversation with inanimate objects is officially a trend.
Brad reportedly received $7 million for the gig. Chanel Fragrance and Beauty president Andrea d'Avack said of the campaign, "It is the first time we've had a man speaking about a women's fragrance. We think very much that the perfume is a seduction between a man, a woman and the perfume."
To coincide with the announcement, the French fashion house have also launched an entire website dedicated to the history of the brand. Chanel No. 5 takes pride of place on the site, as the first chapter in an accompanying video series.
