Andy Samberg, his musical comedy group The Lonely Island and Saturday Night Live are being sued by a St Louis-based production team for stealing their music. The Hollywood Reporter claims that Aleric Banks (aka Rick tha Ruler) and Monique Hines submitted some tracks in 2009, as Samberg prepared to release his first album with The Lonely Island and were initially thrilled at the breakthrough. 'Shy Ronnie', which featured Rihanna on vocals, went on to be nomitated for an Emmy for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics and neither credit nor compensation was given to Banks and Hines.

Meanwhile, Tim Heidecker, of Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!, has recorded an entire album about GOP presidential candidate (and accused sexual harasser) Herman Cain. Cainthology (Songs In The Key Of Cain) is already available for download at LittleRecordCompany.com and will be on iTunes and Amazon from November 11, with all proceeds will go to the VIP Community Mental Health Center's violence intervention program. Heidecker was, understandably, inspired by Herman Cain's actual campaign ad which shows the Chief of Staff sucking on a cigarette and Cain grinning and creeping us out like any good Tim and Eric character would. 'Cain Train' is Heidecker's absurb-but-not-too-far-off take on the ad and is suitably ridiculous.

Childish Gambino, better known as Donald Glover, will release his fourth studio LP this month, titled Camp. Gambino/Glover stars as Troy Barnes in NBC's Community, alongside Gillian Jacobs (who we interviewed for Oyster #95). Glover is the individual responsible for 'Werewolf Bar Mitzvah' from 30 Rock.
