Not Going to Splendour? Thank God for Sideshows!
Plus you get to sleep in your own bed!
Splendour in the Grass tickets sold out in minutes last Friday, leaving many hopefuls wilted and dismayed. But worry not — solace lies herein. While this mightn’t compare to camping in Byron Bay for the full festival, some sideshows for Sydney and Melbourne were announced today.
This is just the beginning, though, you guys. Keep your eyes and ears open for more acts to announce their side goings-ons. We’ve got substantial excitement riding on Azealia Banks, Smashing Pumpkins and The Shins. And at least this way, we can shower in peace when it's over. Silver lining!
