NYFW FW13 Backstage: Rodarte, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Alexander Wang & Creatures of the Wind

The Mulleavy sisters injected some colour into the doom and gloom of the FW13 collections with their Rodarte offering which saw bright tie-dye prints waltz down the runway along with a model who had Rainbow Brite hair to match. Meanwhile Marc by Marc Jacobs was '70s air hostess goes glam' with psychedelic patterns, fur coats, satin and circular bags. Sports-luxe master Alexander Wang bought back the snood and tailored trackpant, while we loved the jolt of jaffa orange in Creatures of the Wind's 'Candy' collection.
