Obama Likes Jay-Z More Than He Likes Kanye
But he thinks Kanye is a talented jackass.
If you got to ask the President of the United States one question what would it be? “Jay-Z or Kanye?” Duh. A journalist from The Atlantic recently asked Obama to chip in on this issue of contention:
"The president smiles. 'Jay-Z,' he says, as if the answer should be obvious... 'Although I like Kanye,' Obama continues, with an easy smile. 'He’s a Chicago guy. Smart. He’s very talented.'"
The journalist then asked, "Even though you called him a jackass?"
“'He is a jackass,' Obama says, in his likable and perfectly balanced modern-professorial voice. 'But he’s talented.'"
