Ohne Titel at NYFW with Yimmy Yayo
We go backstage at Ohne Titel.
Inspiration taken from Middle Eastern and Turkish architecture was most notably translated into garments through costumey feathered neckpieces, geometric prints and a palette punctuated by cobalt and red. One ankle-length dress with a white figure-accentuating panel on the torso recalled the spherical structure of the mosque while flat, strappy sandals were for hot summer sand. It was Ohne Titel's first dabble into evening wear and dresses were either body con or billowing with some keeping the cocoon shapes from last season, almost cape-like in their construction. Colour blocking came through as a key trend.
