When it comes to ad campaigns, Pringle of Scotland are all about championing home grown talent ? see the previous Ryan McGinley-shot Tilda Swinton shots for proof. In a continuation of this Scottish theme, Pringle have handpicked burgeoning actress, Skins star Freya Mavor (above), as the face of its new campaign. The man behind the shots is Walter Pfeiffer, an early pioneer of the point-and-click method, renowned for his beautiful, homoerotic depictions of street life. He's Swiss (the Scots have got to leave some talent for the rest of us) and his snaps look so good that we're tempted to run out and buy those pom-pom-esque ankle adornment things immediately.

Pringle of Scotland aren't the only ones enlisting TV personalities as brand ambassadors: the new face of Missoni is Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester. Meester, who plays the character of Blair Waldorf in the series, appears carefree and natural in barely-there make-up as she rides a carousel horse in one of Missoni's trademark prints. She 8 alongside Jasmine Guinness cradling her newborn baby and Jade Parfitt standing over a vintage motorbike. Juergen Teller shot the campaign and it's said to have been inspired by the iconic Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band record sleeve.

Juergen Teller is also responsible for the new Celine campaign, which 8 a dewy, sun-kissed Daria Werbowy donning palazzo pants and a skateboard. Keeping in with Phoebe Philo's signature simple and minimalist style, the threads are free-fitting and silhouettes free-flowing. If Teller used The Beatles as inspiration for the Missoni campaign, we're guessing he was listening to The Beach Boys for this one. The snaps have us California dreamin'.

And now to the opposite end of the campaign spectrum: Givenchy's lighter shade of pale. If your complexion falls more within the realm of 'ghostly pallor' than 'golden brown', this may comfort whilst you lather another layer of aloe vera into your skin: pasty is in. At least, it is according to Riccardo Tisci, who has enlisted white-blonde Daphne Groeneveld and albino model Stephen Thompson to lend their haunting presence to a series of black and white photos shot by Mert and Marcus.
