Shannyn Sossamon tells us what she loves and why
You might know Shannyn Sossamon as the girl who danced with Heath Ledger to David Bowie in A Knight's Tale, or perhaps the girl who got off using the petals of an orchid in 40 Days and 40 Nights. But what you might not know is that before all of this happened, Sossamon DJd for the likes of Madonna. You heard us, Madonna. In fact, music is her first love, so much so that she named her son Audio Science. For Oyster #90, we asked Sossamon to tell us her favourite tracks, and why she loves them. Here is a selection.
Stevie Nicks - 'Edge of Seventeen'

"I first heard it in high school and then listened to it on repeat for months. I love how it does up and down real fast. It's sexy, playful, hard and leaves you wanting more. The bass line... her voice... the snare hit... the ending. Makes me feel like myself. Glad I'm hearing it again."
