Dressing for cold weather can often lead to a wardrobe of bleak blacks and conservative greys. But for the Fall/Winter 2012 season the runway was hot with a thousand shades of red — electric-crimson pants at Chloé, ruby dresses at Lanvin, oxblood sweaters at Proenza Schouler and that vermillion suit at Prada.
