For the Fall/Winter 2012 season, designers went over to the dark side, with frightening feathers, leather aplenty, body-con dresses, and collars so dramatic they could double as ballistic face masks. The badass-vamp vibe might be an everyday thing for Rick Owens, Gareth Pugh, and Nicola Formichetti at Thierry Mugler, but this time round even Dior, Calvin Klein and Chanel toughened up.
