Oyster Playlist: The Rubens

They tells us their 'Favourite Songs From Eponymous Albums' featuring Cypress Hill, The Ramones, Aaliyah and more!

Blues for a dingy basement bar, soul for a spirit-filled gospel service, rock for a pub — The Rubens take all of this and leave you emotionally exhausted. But you won't find them in that bar or that pub anymore. In the last few months the Sydney-based band has gone from anonymous to eponymous, self-titling their first album (recorded in New York) and blowing audiences away at Splendour in the Grass. The next Aussie festival on their radar? Laneway!

Yesterday they released their latest video, 'The Best We Got':

Now they'd like to share some classic moments in music history with this playlist they made for us — 'Favourite Songs From Eponymous Albums'. We've put the album names in brackets for your convenience.
