Oyster x Nike Free Run Shoot

We hit the streets with up-and-coming photographer Zac Handley to shoot Nike's new sneakers.

We love the new Nike Free Runs — so much so that we decided to ask our friends with the best legs to chuck them on and hang out in the street. We invited one of our favourite up-and-coming photographers, Zac Handley, to shoot the Free Run +3s and 3.0s in action.

Big ups to Kyle, the token 'male model', for getting into character and jumping over a fence while shirtless (it was his idea to take his shirt off, just so you know). Meanwhile, Maggie cruised around being an all-around babe on her bike. Coincidentally, Hayley had just gotten a new 'who cares' tattoo the night before — just above a stick-and-poke heart on her ankle that Kyle gave her a few years ago using an electric toothbrush and a biro nicked from Coles. Red hot.

Nike Free Runs literally make you feel like you're running barefoot (if your feet were really, really squishy). They have these mesh bits (reminiscent of a Reef sandal) meaning your feet don't get all hot 'n' sweaty when you're legging it. Then this magical technology called 'Dynamic Fit', which means they mould to your foot. As Ned Flanders would say, "Feels like I'm wearing nothing at all!"

Not only will the Free Runs make you run ten times faster*, but the colours (bright neons and pastels) and reflective details mean they're also super hashtag fashion.

*Increased speed not guaranteed by Oyster or Nike!
